Rackd Resale

Wichita, KS

Custom shop software and a public website for Rackd, a clothing resale shop in Wichita. Sellers book a Friday rack; the same system runs the seller dashboard, checkout, and shop email.

Rackd Resale public home page: denim on the racks, the Wichita shop at 4800 W Maple St, a headline to shop what is on the racks this week, and the start of new arrivals
Public home page at rackdresale.com.
Rackd public rent-a-rack page: steps for rack, add-ons, seller info, and seller terms, with rack size, week count, rack count, and a Friday start. A note says a private seller dashboard is emailed after payment. No customer information is shown.
Public rack booking at rackdresale.com/book. Seller details come on a later step; this step does not show them.

The challenge

Rackd rents rack space to local sellers and sells their clothes in the store and online, with new pieces every Friday. A Wix site could describe the shop. It could not book a rack, give each seller a private dashboard, take payment, or send the notices the week depends on.

What I built

  • ▹Public Next.js site on AWS Amplify, replacing the Wix site, with the live floor, shop hours, and seller guide
  • ▹Rack booking: pick a Friday, rack size, weeks, and rack count, then add-ons, seller details, and seller terms
  • ▹Square checkout on the booking page. After payment, the shop emails a private seller dashboard where items and printable register tags are added
  • ▹When a sale is rung up, that item leaves the public shop, and the seller gets item-sold and payout notices
  • ▹Transactional email for those shop messages, and Friday shopper alerts that send only after the person confirms from their inbox
